Purchase of a New Front Loading Refuse Truck

The City of Leesburg invited bids for the purchase of a new front loading refuse truck. The contract was awarded to Nextran Truck Center Orlando, with a bid amount of $239,949.80. The delivery date of the purchased equipment is not to exceed 120 days after receipt of the purchase order. The contract includes the purchase of a new refuse body installed front loading, compaction, and a new cab and chassis.
