This contract is for the improvement of NE 49th St. Water Main Replacement – NE 15th Ave. to NE St. Johns Rd. The contractor, Advanced Excavating Specialists, LLC, shall furnish and install water main, fire hydrant assemblies, fittings, valves, and all appurtenances as shown on the plans and specified herein. The contractor shall also furnish and install approximately 395 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer main. The work shall be fully complete within 60 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) date. The contract includes provisions for payment, insurance, bonding, and dispute resolution. • The contract value is $1,625,888.78, including 8.5% Washington State Sales Tax. • The contractor shall procure insurance coverage as required by the contract. • The contractor shall file a Performance Bond and Payment Bond with the City of Vancouver. • The contract includes provisions for termination, dispute resolution, and indemnification. • The contractor shall comply with all relevant federal, state, and municipal laws, rules, and regulations.
