Description
The City of Worcester is acquiring consulting services to design and implement two resilient community spaces and two pilot Miyawaki forests in environmentally‑justice neighborhoods. The consultant will manage community outreach, hire local community liaisons, develop communication plans, produce conceptual urban‑design plans, and oversee the planting, short‑ and long‑term maintenance of the forests, with all deliverables due by June 2024.
• Scope includes full community engagement, design of two resilient spaces, and creation of two Miyawaki forests (≥ 10,000 sf each).
• Required deliverables: concept plans, planting and management plans, bi‑weekly meeting minutes, and ongoing maintenance support through 30 Jun 2024.
