Description
The Hernando County School Board published an ITB for grease trap cleaning and preventative maintenance services. The contract was to be awarded to one vendor for the entirety of the bid contract. However, the proposals submitted were rejected. The services required include grease trap pumping and cleaning, as well as preventative maintenance. The contract was to be awarded in two sections: grease trap pumping and cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
• The contract requires the vendor to provide all supervision, personnel, labor, travel, equipment, and materials to clean out and service grease traps at school cafeterias district-wide.
• The vendor is to provide firm, net, delivered pricing, labor rates, and percentage mark-up on manufacturer's price list for supplies, materials, and parts for the contract period.
• The contract is to be awarded for a period of approximately two to three times per year, with emergencies to be handled separately.
