REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF SURVEY EQUIPMENT

This contract is for the repair and maintenance of survey equipment for the County of Orange, OC Waste & Recycling. The contract is for a term of three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms. The contractor, California Surveying and Drafting Supply Inc, will provide routine service, calibration, and repairs for various survey equipment, including Trimble 5800, R8, R10, SPS881, SPS986, and SPS855 receivers, as well as Trimble TSC2/TSC3 controllers and data collectors. The contractor will also provide loaner equipment at a 50% discount from the regular rental rate for equipment on warranty work. The contract includes a pricing schedule for various equipment and services, with a total contract value of $19,500. The contractor is required to have a repair facility within 25 miles of the County Seat and must be an authorized Trimble service and repair center.
