Bowman WTP Phase 3 Improvements

The contract is for the Bowman WTP Phase 3 Improvements project, which includes the construction and completion of water treatment plant improvements. The project involves the removal and disposal of existing infrastructure, demolition, and installation of new equipment and materials. The contract was awarded to multiple vendors, and the total base bid price is $1,750,000.00. The project includes various tasks such as mobilization, work protection, pipeline excavation, and electrical and instrumentation work. • The project includes the removal and disposal of existing 27” raw water piping and existing 30” slide gate. • The project includes the demolition and disposal of existing flocculation basin infrastructure. • The project includes the supply and installation of new influent 18” piping, flowmeter, butterfly valve, and chemical injection piping. • The project includes the supply and installation of new 30” raw water piping and associated chemical injection piping and vault. • The project includes the supply and installation of (6) vertical turbine flocculators with motor center addition and (1) rapid mixer. • The project includes the supply and installation of miscellaneous metals including beams, grating, handrail, and davit bases. • The project includes the construction of intake screen channel, supply and installation of automatic fine screen with controls. • The project includes appurtenant paving, bollards, grading, yard piping, valving, instrumentation, controls, and electrical work to the improvements described above.
