Description
This contract awards a three‑year, full‑service operation and maintenance agreement for the Rock River Water Reclamation District’s on‑site aquarium. The contractor is responsible for all aspects of aquarium upkeep, including life‑support equipment (pumps, filters, UV sterilizers), water quality monitoring, temperature control, feeding and health management of fish and turtles, cleaning of acrylic surfaces, and routine preventive maintenance. The scope also includes record‑keeping, reporting to district staff, emergency response, security system operation, and training of any technicians. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, annual‑paid arrangement subject to Illinois prevailing‑wage requirements, annual performance bonds, and comprehensive insurance coverage.
