This contract is for the provision of International Travel Data: Global City services, which includes access to a comprehensive database of global city travel data, forecasts, and analysis. The contract is for a period of 2 years, with an annual subscription fee of $18,500, totaling $37,000. The services will be provided by Tourism Economics LLC, and the data will be used by Pinellas County to analyze market trends and the outlook for travel and the economy. Key features of the service include: • Access to a user-friendly online database with detailed information for 300 cities • Forecasts of visits to each city by country of origin • Measurement of visits and nights to 300 destination cities from each of the top 50 origin countries • Topline economic and demographic indicators for each city • Delivery within the Oxford Economics data platform for easy querying of the database and future updates • Ongoing support from Tourism Economics senior staff in the interpretation and use of the data.
