LINE PROTECTION PROGRAM

The City of Palm Bay is requesting proposals from home service providers to administer a Line Protection Program for the city. The program will cover repairs to water and sewer lines that occur in the homeowner portion of the service lines, as well as in-home plumbing emergencies. The city has 30,259 water customers and 14,443 sewer customers. The contract was awarded to Home Services USA Corporation. • The program will cover normal wear and tear, but not repairs covered by homeowners insurance. • The city is requesting a program to cover in-home plumbing emergencies. • The contract was awarded during a Regular Council Meeting. • The city has a large number of water and sewer customers that will be covered under this program.
