Industrial Safety Supplies_Personal Protection Equipment

The County of Riverside Purchasing on behalf of the Department of Waste Resources (RCDWR) is soliciting quotations for the ordering and purchasing of various types of industrial safety supplies as detailed in this RFQ and Exhibit A Product Specifications. The contract will allow the department to administer its own purchases on an as-needed basis directly from the awarded vendor(s). The department will negotiate applicable hold stock at agreed upon quantities for the frequently ordered items with the awarded vendor(s) to allow for mutually beneficial order procedures and fastest turnaround time. Some of the key items included in the contract are: cotton knit gloves, clear goggles, coveralls, filter masks, ear plugs, safety vests, respirator masks, and more. • The contract is for a multi-year period. • The department will negotiate hold stock quantities with the awarded vendor(s). • The contract includes a wide range of industrial safety supplies. • The department will administer its own purchases on an as-needed basis. • The contract allows for fastest turnaround time for ordered items.
