STORMWATER/MANHOLE REHABILITATION EQUIPMENT

The City of Olathe is seeking to purchase stormwater and manhole rehabilitation equipment, including a trailer and various materials for lining and sealing stormwater lines and manholes. The equipment and materials will be used for high-pressure cleaning, applying high-strength liners and corrosion protection, sealing channels, and protecting rehabilitated sites. A pre-bid conference was held on June 27, 2011, to answer questions about the bid requirements. The bid submission date was July 11, 2011. • The contract includes the purchase of a trailer, equipment, and accessories as specified. • The contract includes the purchase of various materials, including PERMACAST MS-10,000 or equal manhole liner grout, PERMACAST MS-10,000 UL or equal underlayment grout, PERMACAST Plug or equal, PERMACAST Patch or equal, COR+GARD Epoxy or equal, and Con mic Shield Anti-Bacterial Additive or equal. • The contract requires the supplier to provide the equipment and materials in accordance with the specifications and requirements outlined in the bid documents. • The contract is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the bid documents, including the instructions to bidders, the affidavit, and the IFB document.
