Description
This contract is for lead abatement work at 176 Hillier Akron, Ohio 44310. The work includes removing existing windows, making repairs as needed, and installing new vinyl windows. The contractor must follow all applicable local building codes and regulations, including OSHA, City, County, and state codes. The contractor must also provide a current registration, bond, and insurance on file with the appropriate jurisdictions building department. The contract has an estimated value of $12,500 and the job must be finished within 30 days of signing the contract. Some key aspects of the scope of work include:
• Removing all existing windows and making repairs as needed
• Installing new vinyl windows with a minimum of 5/8" insulated air space and screens
• Wrapping all exterior window casings and sills with white coil stock and caulking all seams
• Installing smoke detectors in each sleeping area and on each floor
• Installing battery-operated CO detectors by fuel source and near sleeping areas
• Painting stabilization in accordance with HUD regulations
• Enclosing porch ceiling and ceiling beams with vinyl soffit and wrapping beams with aluminum coil stock and caulking all seams
• Enclosing side B entry door casing with white coil stock and caulking all seams
• Removing and replacing side B entry door with a steel pre-primed pre-hung door with weather stripping and a dead bolt
• Installing an EMCO 100 storm door
• Removing side A entry door and sealing the opening
• Installing a new steel pre-primed pre-hung door with weather stripping and a dead bolt
• Enclosing all exterior window casings and sills with white coil stock and caulking all seams
• Enclosing house eaves with vinyl soffit
• Installing smoke detectors and CO detectors as specified
• Painting stabilization in accordance with HUD regulations
• Enclosing porch walls with house wrap and vinyl siding
• Removing and replacing doors and windows as specified
• Performing all work in accordance with local building codes and regulations.
