Tree Mortality Program Projects #4B and #16

The County of Calaveras is seeking qualified Licensed Timber Operators (LTO) and/or C-61/D-49 certified Tree Service Companies (TSC) to provide Tree Mitigation services in the project areas defined in the attached Exhibit A – #4B Project Area Location (Maps) and Exhibit B - #16 Project Area Location (Maps). The services requested will include all operations related to the safe, legal, efficient cutting of dead and/or dying trees, selective removal of trees and treatment of associated slash and debris that pose a hazard to county infrastructure (primarily roads). • The contract is for two project areas, #4B and #16, and bidders may bid on one or both projects. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. • The services will be provided in accordance with the Bid Information and Documents contained herein and with the laws, regulations, and policies of the County of Calaveras and the State of California, and all other applicable regulations. • The bid forms and contract documents are available for download on the County's website. • A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting was conducted at the U.S. Forest Service Calaveras Ranger District Office in Hathaway Pines. • The contract is expected to be awarded immediately following the notice of intent to award.
