The University of Akron is seeking a vendor to provide plastic-laminate laboratory casework, utility-space framing, filler and closure panels, laboratory countertops, laboratory sinks, laboratory accessories, and water, laboratory gas, and electrical service fittings for the Knight Chemical Room 104 Renovation project. The successful bidder is Stonecreek Interior Systems. The project includes the following scope of work:
• Plastic-laminate laboratory casework
• Utility-space framing at backs of base cabinets (island configurations)
• Filler and closure panels
• Laboratory countertops
• Laboratory sinks
• Laboratory accessories
• Water, laboratory gas, and electrical service fittings
The contract was awarded on May 20, 2013.
