SEWER REPAIR AND RELATED CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

This contract awards sewer repair and related construction services across the Metropolitan District’s service area in Connecticut. The work includes repair, replacement, and installation of water and sewer distribution and collection systems, as well as associated equipment furnishing and installation. Three qualified contractors were selected to perform the scope, each submitting bids in the $8 million range. • Scope: Heavy civil engineering construction for water & sewer infrastructure, including trenching, pipe replacement, and equipment installation. • Awarded to: VMS Construction Co., Paramount Construction LLC, and Coastline Construction Corp. (each with separate award). • Timeline: Bids due 8 Nov 2022; contract award effective 26 Jan 2023; work to commence shortly thereafter.
