HOT MIX ASPHALT (EASTERN REGION DELIVERY)

The County of Riverside is soliciting quotations for the supply of Hot Mix Paving Asphalt, specifically PG 64-10, PG 64-16, or PG 70-10, for delivery to areas within the eastern region of the county. The estimated annual quantities for the items being bid are based on historical usage data and are provided for quotation purposes only. The successful vendor will supply product in accordance with the specifications found in the SPECIAL CONDITIONS RESPONSE FORM attached to this RFQ. • The contract involves the supply of Hot Mix Paving Asphalt for various locations within the eastern region of the county. • The estimated annual quantities for the items being bid are based on historical usage data. • The successful vendor will be responsible for replacing any defective product and indemnifying the county for any losses incurred due to delay in shipment or rejection of product. • The contract has a bid total of $9,148,464.00 for one vendor and $8,192,993.40 for the other vendor. • The County reserves the right to reject any or all offers, waive any discrepancy or technicality, and to split or make the award in any manner determined by the County to be the most advantageous to the County.
