Foresthill Memorial Hall Type 1 Hood Replacement, Project No. PJ00162

The contract is for the replacement of the Foresthill Memorial Hall kitchen hood with a Type 1 commercial hood, fire extinguishing system, and new ductwork. The County of Placer estimated the cost of the Base Bid Work to be $160,000. The contract was awarded to one of the three vendors that submitted bids: P&P Construction Inc, Maloney and Bell GC Inc, or Division 515. The scope of work includes the replacement of the existing kitchen hood and the installation of a new fire extinguishing system and ductwork. • The contract requires the successful bidder to possess a valid Class B General Building Contractor’s License issued by the State of California. • The work is subject to the payment of prevailing wages under California Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. • The contract is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. • The successful bidder must register with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. • The contract requires the successful bidder to provide a bid bond. • The contract is subject to review for mathematical accuracy and compliance with specifications, terms, and conditions.
