Fire Alarm Improvements

The City of Duncanville is seeking a contractor to provide fire alarm improvements, including the installation of addressable fire alarm systems and additions to existing systems. The contractor will be required to perform a survey of existing buildings and provide all necessary equipment and wiring for approved systems and system additions. The contract includes four base bids and two alternate bids. The total base bid project estimate is $85,000. • The contractor will be required to provide As-Built Drawings, Operation and Maintenance Documentation, and Training of Personnel. • The contractor will be required to install conduit raceway as required by the specification and the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code. • The contractor will be required to provide smoke/heat detection per NFPA72 at the Municipal Service Center location. • The contractor will be required to provide carbon monoxide detection in sleeping areas at Fire Station 1 and Fire Station 2.
