College Boulevard Arterial Mill and Overlay Project

The College Boulevard Arterial Mill and Overlay Project involves a 2” asphalt mill and overlay on College Boulevard from Claire Road to the K-7 Highway Interchange. The construction includes an additional turn lane on the southbound K-7 ramp at College, installation of an 8’ wide concrete shared use path, curb and gutter spot replacement, ADA ramp installation, 2 traffic signal installations at the K-7 and College ramp intersections, installation of street lights, pavement markings, erosion control, and traffic control. The contract was awarded to one of the three bidding companies: O'Donnell & Sons Construction Co., Inc., Freeman Concrete Construction, LLC, or McAnany Construction, Inc. • The project includes the removal of existing pavement, concrete median nose, and concrete curb and gutter. • The installation of new concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, and shared use path. • The construction of traffic signals and street lighting. • The implementation of erosion control and traffic control measures. • The project has a grand total of $1,679,009.55 for Freeman Concrete Construction, LLC, $1,786,948.69 for McAnany Construction, Inc., and $1,983,048.88 for O'Donnell & Sons Construction Co., Inc.
