The Placer County Water Agency solicited bids for the purchase of Stream Maintenance Valves and Actuators. The work consists of fabrication, inspection, testing, and delivery of Inter-Day Low Level Outlet Improvement Project – Stream Maintenance Valves and Actuators. The agency rejected all bids due to the onset of Covid-19 and its unknown economic impacts. The agency may reevaluate this project at some point in 2021. Key features of the project include:
• Two 26-inch throttling knife gate valves with integral actuator for stream maintenance flow control
• One 26-inch manually operated gate valve to act as an isolation valve
• The successful bidder will be required to satisfy all current legal requirements applicable to this work
• The agency reserves the right to award the contract, reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and reject nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional bids.
