Nevada County Green Waste Site Road and Waterline Improvements

The Nevada County Green Waste Site Road and Waterline Improvements Project involves the placement of a new gravel road and installation of a 2” waterline. The project includes site preparation, removal of trees and debris, and compaction testing. The contract was awarded to Deschaine Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $63,580 plus a 10% contingency of $6,358 for a total contract amount of $69,938. The project is expected to commence 10 days after mailing of written notice to proceed by County and be completed within 45 days. • The project includes the installation of a 2” waterline and a new gravel road. • The contract was awarded through a competitive bidding process. • The project is funded by the Nevada County Capital Facilities budget and will be reimbursed from the Office of Emergency Services budget. • The contractor is required to commence work 10 days after receipt of written notice to proceed and complete all work within 45 days.
