SATT – Security Fencing

This contract is for the provision and installation of security fencing at the Santa Ana Transit Terminal. The contractor, Valley Cities Gonzales Fence, Inc., will provide 198 lineal feet of 2x4x6 gauge galvanized welded mesh and attach it to the ceiling of the terminal to prevent theft. The contract amount is $15,700.00, and the work is expected to be completed within 365 calendar days. The contractor will be paid based on a progress payment schedule, with payments made approximately 30 days after the County's written approval of the payment request. • The contract includes provisions for liquidated damages, changes, and termination. • The contractor is required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection. • The contract also includes provisions for dispute resolution and claims. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining records and submitting reports as required by the County. • The contract includes a cost reduction incentive provision, which allows the contractor to submit proposals for reducing costs without impairing the essential functions or characteristics of the project.
