Completion of Infrastructure Contract A Manholes, Lift Station, and Wastewater Treatment Plant

This contract covers the design‑build completion of critical wastewater infrastructure in the Hennings Subdivision of McHenry County, Illinois. The work includes rehabilitation of multiple sanitary sewer manholes, installation of a lift station (including generator and control equipment), and completion of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) building and associated process‑control systems. A modest cash allowance is provided for roof repair on the WWTP operations building, and the project must comply with county specifications, standard terms, and applicable Illinois statutes. • Manhole rehabilitation – structural adjustments, chimney sealing, joint grouting, interior cement sealing. • Lift station – natural‑gas‑fueled generator, automatic transfer switch, receptacle provisions. • WWTP – generator & ATS, rotary‑lobe blower, compressors, level and flow transmitters, alarm dialers, spare equipment, interior finishes, and pond‑liner repairs. • Contract delivered via competitive sealed bid; awarded to Carmichael Construction, Inc. for a total price of $312,451.
