Description
The City of Palm Bay is seeking a pre-designed and pre-engineered rappel tower for emergency services use. The project includes design, permitting, testing, materials, construction, fabrication, and inspection of the tower. The estimated cost of the project is between $300,000 and $350,000.
• The project requires a turnkey solution, including mobilization, erosion and sediment controls, clearing and grubbing, excavation of retention pond, embankment for foundation construction, concrete foundation design and construction, fencing, electrical service and lighting, and performance turf.
• The City of Palm Bay held a pre-bid conference on October 24, 2014, and an evaluation selection committee meeting on December 4, 2014.
• The contract document includes various attachments, such as the RFP, addenda, and plans for the rappel tower.
