Robinson Middle School –Unit Ventilator Replacement and Controls Upgrade

The contract is for the replacement of unit ventilators and an upgrade of the controls at Robinson Middle School. The project requires the contractor to furnish and install the system in accordance with all codes and authorities having jurisdiction. The entire system shall be tested to ensure all devices are functioning as designed. The contract was awarded to six vendors: McElroy's Inc, Nesbitt Co., Piping Contractors of Kansas (PCI), Lippert Mechanical, Central Mechanical Const. Co., and The Wilson Group. The grand total for each vendor's bid is as follows: $84,570.00, $92,000.00, $93,079.00, $95,275.00, $95,700.00, and $159,781.00 respectively. • The contract requires the contractor to provide all materials and labor to complete the project per the plans. • The project includes an allowance of $15,000.00 for each vendor. • The bid was opened by Carmen Lovan, Buyer, Purchasing Services.
