Lawson Creek Road Reconstruction

The contract is for the reconstruction of Lawson Creek Road from Crow Hill Drive to the end of the Right of Way at entrance to Crow Hill Parking Road 3 and Raven Road. The work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, replacement of the roadway section with 2-inch minus shot rock with base course, and asphalt pavement, as well as other miscellaneous related work. The contract was awarded to Coogan Construction Company for a total bid amount of $1,621,470. The contract also includes two additive alternates and one deductive alternate. • The base bid includes the reconstruction of the road and related work. • Additive Alternate No. 1 includes the connection of water utilities on Creek Street and other related work. • Additive Alternate No. 2 includes the substitution of all topsoil items with ProGanics Biotic Soil Media. • Deductive Alternate No. 2 includes the removal of topsoil and finish grading.
