Description
The County of Riverside Purchasing Department was soliciting quotations for the supply and delivery of a generator, switchboard, and automatic transfer switch (ATS) system. The equipment was to be furnished by the same manufacturer as described in Exhibit A, which was prepared by Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, Inc. (HOK). The contract was canceled due to lack of competition, and a new RFQ (FMARC-186A) will be released at a future date. The key points of this contract include:
• Supply and delivery of a generator, switchboard, and ATS system
• Equipment to be furnished by the same manufacturer as described in Exhibit A
• Installation of the equipment to be accomplished under a separate construction contract
• A five percent (5%) price preference may be applied to the total bid price for local businesses
• A three percent (3%) preference shall be applied to the total bid price for certified disabled veterans owned businesses
