Replace EPDM roof on Garner Maintenance Garage

The Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) is seeking competitive bids for the removal and replacement of the EPDM roof at the Garner Maintenance Garage. The scope of work includes removal of the existing membrane roof and replacement as per the attached Project Manual & Plans. The contract is expected to start on July 1, 2025, and end on September 30, 2025. The Iowa DOT will provide a list of items requiring inspection prior to or during installation, and the contractor is to give the Iowa DOT notice no less than 24 hours in advance of installation. • The contract is for the removal and replacement of the EPDM roof, including insulation. • The contractor must remove and reuse existing rock ballast. • The contract term is from July 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025. • The Iowa DOT will provide periodic site inspections to ensure coordination of the project. • The contractor must submit all questions through the Q&A Board. • The contract includes a payment term of 95% of the value of work performed, including acceptable material stored at the building site.
