Wastewater Treatment Plant Garage/Shop

The City of Mount Vernon has entered into a Professional Services Agreement with Carletti Architects, P.S. for the design of a new Public Works garage/shop facility building. The scope of work includes architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services, as well as landscape architecture and geotechnical engineering. The contract has a maximum value of $149,085 and is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2023. The agreement includes provisions for reimbursement of expenses, indemnification, and termination. • The project involves the construction of a 4,000 square foot building with five overhead doors, including a wash bay. • The building will be fully heated and have trench drains in all five vehicle bays. • The consultant will provide various services, including schematic design, construction documents, permit submittal, bidding and negotiation, and construction administration. • The contract includes a detailed scope of work, including tasks such as site visits, review of shop drawings and submittals, and response to contractor's RFI's. • The agreement also includes provisions for reimbursement of expenses, including mileage, postage, and outside consultants.
