Description
This contract is a mandatory‑use agreement for the supply of bagged ice cubes (7‑lb and 20‑lb) to Ohio State Parks and for emergency support to the Department of Administrative Services when the State Emergency Operations Center is activated. The contractor must provide the ice in clear virgin‑plastic bags meeting specific thickness requirements, furnish a free ice merchandiser (≥ 40 cu ft) to each participating park, and maintain/repair the merchandisers within three business days of any malfunction. Delivery performance windows are stringent: orders placed during the Memorial‑Day‑to‑Labor‑Day period must be delivered within 24 hours; all other orders must be delivered within one business day. The contract runs Feb 1 2027 – Jan 31 2029, with a one‑month renewal option and the possibility of further extensions up to 48 months. Prices are fixed for the first 12 months; thereafter, price adjustments require a 30‑day notice after DAS acceptance. No minimum order amount applies to emergency deliveries, while park‑delivery orders must be at least $25.00. Ferry‑only parks have reimbursable ferry fees.
