Woodland Road K-10 to College Boulevard Improvements Project

The City of Olathe, Kansas, Public Works Department is requesting qualified design firms to submit qualifications for the preparation of design documents for the Woodland Road K-10 to College Boulevard Improvements Project. The project includes pavement reconstruction, median construction, landscaping, bike lanes, sidewalks, curb and gutter, storm sewer, streetlighting, and all other related work necessary to complete the project. The scope of work also includes survey of existing conditions, utility coordination, cost estimates, acquisition documentation, traffic counts, developing construction plans, coordination with utilities and Olathe, assistance with bidding of project for construction, and assistance as needed throughout construction. Some of the key features of this project include: • Improving Woodland Road from a 2-lane section to a 4-lane divided arterial • Including pavement reconstruction, median construction, landscaping, bike lanes, sidewalks, curb and gutter, storm sewer, streetlighting, and all other related work • Coordinating with utilities and Olathe • Assisting with bidding of project for construction and throughout construction
