Glass & Glazing Services

This contract provides Radford University with comprehensive glass and glazing services—including supply, installation, repair, replacement, and related hardware—across all university campuses. The agreement is an IDIQ with a one‑year base period and up to four additional one‑year renewal options, all at fixed labor rates and a 15 % discount off manufacturers’ list prices for materials. The vendor must meet OSHA/ANSI safety standards, maintain required insurance, and adhere to SWaM participation goals. Payments are made within 30 days of invoice under Virginia Prompt Pay rules. • Labor rates: $74/hr regular, $111/hr overtime/emergency; material pricing = list price – 15 %. • Service scope covers all types of glass (tempered, laminated, insulated, etc.), doors, hardware, window film, screens, and related repairs, with same‑day non‑emergency response and 4‑hour emergency response. • Contract value is roughly $60 k per year, with a potential five‑year total of $300 k, and includes provisions for safety, asbestos/lead handling, and cooperative purchasing for other Virginia entities.
