Description
Palm Beach County is seeking pre-qualified vendors to provide window and glass surface cleaning services on a term contract basis. The contract will be awarded to a sufficient number of vendors to provide the required services. Vendors must meet the requirements outlined in the Request for Pre-Qualification document, including providing certificates of competency, business tax receipts, and maintaining a drug-free workplace. The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Palm Beach County.
* The contract requires vendors to comply with the County's Commercial Nondiscrimination Policy and to provide equal opportunity for subcontractors, subconsultants, vendors, and suppliers to participate in all of its public sector and private sector subcontracting and supply opportunities.
* Vendors must also comply with the requirements of Chapter 119, F.S., and other applicable requirements of state law regarding public records.
* The contract includes an affirmative procurement initiative (API) for small business enterprises (SBEs), which provides a price preference for certified SBEs.
* Vendors must submit a completed Request for Pre-Qualification response form, including all required certifications, licenses, and permits.
* The contract will be awarded based on the vendor's responsiveness, responsibility, and price.
