Description
The Palm Beach County Purchasing Department is seeking pre-qualified vendors to provide various types of lumber and firewood for the county. The contract will be for a term, and vendors will be required to provide a written price quote on an as-needed basis. • Vendors must have a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades to receive a local preference.
• A 5% Glades Local Preference is given when a Glades business offers to provide goods or services that will be utilized within the Glades.
• A 5% Local Preference is given to vendors having a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County.
• Vendors must submit a copy of all applicable Certificates of Competency issued by the State of Florida or the Palm Beach County Construction Industry Licensing Board.
• Vendors must maintain a current Business Tax Receipt for Palm Beach County and all permits required to complete the contractual service at no additional cost to the county.
