Description
The Palm Beach County Purchasing Department is seeking pre-qualification of vendors for the purchase and delivery of sand. The pre-qualified vendors will be invited to submit written quotes on an as-needed basis. The quotes should include the price offered for each item, product name and number, and delivery days. The County will review the quotes and may return any items that do not meet the County's specifications or performance standards. The payment will be based on the price offered on the quote response page. The contract is a term contract, and the County makes no commitments or guarantees to any of the pre-qualified vendors with respect to a specific amount of work or compensation.
Some key points to note:
* Vendors must submit their pre-qualification responses on the provided response form, and the responses must be typewritten, signed, and submitted in a sealed envelope or container.
* Vendors must include a copy of all applicable Certificates of Competency and maintain a current Business Tax Receipt for Palm Beach County.
* The County has an Equal Business Opportunity Ordinance, which sets forth the County's requirements for the EBO Program, and vendors must comply with the provisions of the EBO Ordinance.
* Vendors must submit a Certification of Business Location, which verifies the vendor's permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades.
