Description
The County of Palm Beach is seeking to pre‑qualify vendors capable of providing ongoing striping, pavement marking, and way‑finding signage services under a term contract. Vendors must submit a sealed, signed pre‑qualification package by the deadline, maintain all required licenses, certifications, and business tax receipts, and register in the County’s Vendor Self‑Service system. The contract will be awarded to qualified vendors who meet the County’s commercial nondiscrimination, local‑preference, and S/M/WBE requirements. The scope includes routine road and parking lot striping, pavement markings, installation and maintenance of traffic signs, and related signage services throughout the County.
• Mandatory sealed submission by November 16 2023 (4:00 PM)
• Vendor must be registered in Palm Beach County’s VSS system and hold all applicable state and local licenses (Construction Industry Licensing Board, Business Tax Receipt)
• Preference given to vendors with a permanent business location in Palm Beach County or the Glades
• Compliance with County’s Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) program; individual project values cannot exceed $99,999
• Ongoing term contract (duration not specified) with potential for multiple project‑by‑project work orders
• Required submission of certifications, safety data sheets, and criminal‑history checks for personnel accessing critical facilities
• Pre‑qualification does not guarantee award; contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible vendor or to a qualified SBE within 10 % of the lowest bid.
