Description
The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to award a sole source contract to Safe Boats International LLC for the acquisition of boat leasing and maintenance services. The contract includes the lease of a SAFE 28 boat, a 28-foot rigid hull inflatable boat designed for speed, stability, and durability in demanding maritime environments. The boat will be equipped with navigation electronics, communications systems, and law enforcement/rescue equipment. The contractor will also provide maintenance and repair services, including regular scheduled maintenance and repair of the boat as needed. The USSS is seeking a sole source contract due to the unique requirements of the project and the lack of alternative sources that can meet these requirements.
