Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking bids for the purchase of Canned/Pouch Foods for Inmate Services Canteens on a statewide basis. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and every other item of expense necessary to provide Canned/Pouch Foods. The contract term is two years.
• The contractor must provide at least 30 different types of Canned/Pouch Foods, including beef stew, chicken vienna sausage, chili, and tuna.
• The contractor must ensure that all products have a shelf life of at least six months and are individually bar-coded.
• The contractor must provide samples of each product for inspection and testing.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Iran Contracting Act and the California Civil Rights Laws.
