Description
The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is soliciting a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for professional architectural/engineering services related to the design and construction of improvements to various Community Centers operated under the Jefferson Community Action Programs (JeffCAP) Department. The scope of work includes design and construction to increase the resiliency of the Community Centers by equipping backup generators for use during power outages and making improvements to enhance normal operations, emergency response capabilities, energy efficiency, resiliency, and ADA compliance.
• The project involves federally funded improvements to Community Centers.
• The scope of work includes architectural, engineering, and landscape architecture design services.
• The project requires supplemental services such as surveying and resident inspection.
• The Parish anticipates selecting a firm based on evaluation criteria including professional training and experience, size of firm, capacity for timely completion, past performance, and location of the principal office.
• The selected firm will be compensated on an hourly rate basis or a fixed fee basis, depending on the scope and complexity of the work.
