Hospital Recliners

The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking the procurement and installation of 29 hospital recliners to support patient treatment and recovery within designated rooms. The required recliners must have an attached table, 500-lb weight capacity, polyurethane arm-cap finish, lock-and-steer casters, moisture-barrier upholstery, Trendelenburg capability, and an integrated IV pole. The University's preferred manufacturer is La-Z-Boy, but products of equal or equivalent quality will be considered. The successful supplier must provide detailed quotes and specs, financial documents, and references. The University also requires the supplier to be located within convenient proximity to the campus to ensure timely access. The successful supplier must agree to the University's Business Associate Agreement and provide a written certification that a background check has been performed on all assigned supplier and subcontractor personnel.
