Description
The U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory (DEVCOM ARL) is seeking a contractor to provide outreach support services to establish and strengthen networks that connect the DoD with academia, industry, and other government agencies. The goal is to promote the exchange of scientific ideas, generate knowledge, and develop a skilled research and engineering workforce through K-12 and university-focused science and technology education and outreach initiatives. The contractor will be responsible for managing, planning, and executing the outreach program, including developing and implementing outreach strategies, managing applications, and providing stipends and travel expenses to participants.
Some key tasks include:
• Providing administration and programmatic support services
• Developing and implementing cohesive outreach strategies
• Managing and developing a database management system
• Providing regular and ad hoc reports on demographics, program effectiveness, and trends
• Planning, coordinating, and executing program-related events
