Hydro Testing, Painting and Refilling NRL owned Gas Cylinders

The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is seeking a contractor to perform hydro testing, painting, and refilling of 226 government-owned gas cylinders. The contractor will pick up the cylinders from NRL, perform hydrostatic testing, sandblast and repaint the cylinders, and refill them with various gases. The contractor will also dispose of any cylinders that cannot be requalified. The project must be completed within 60 calendar days from pickup. • The contractor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), an OEM authorized dealer, an authorized distributor, or an authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system. • The contractor must provide documentation from the manufacturer stating that they are an authorized distributor for the specific items being procured. • The contractor must deliver the requalified and refilled cylinders to the fenced yard to the west of building 49 at NRL. • The contractor must dispose of any cylinders that cannot be requalified.
