Conklin Park Stream Restoration & Constructed Wetland, RFQ 692011

The County of Loudoun, Virginia is seeking a qualified General Contractor to perform stream restoration and constructed wetland work at Conklin Community Park in South Riding. The project includes restoring approximately 2,200 linear feet of an unnamed tributary to Elk Lick Run and creating a Level 2 constructed wetland. The work will involve using Rosgen Natural Channel Design techniques and installing riparian and wetland plantings. • The project includes three reaches of stream restoration, with specific limits and features such as a pedestrian bridge crossing, mountain bike crossings, and plunge pools. • The constructed wetland will include an access road, sediment forebay, deep pools, and an outfall structure. • The project is located on two separate parcels, one owned by South Riding Proprietary and one owned by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. • An optional Pre-Bid Conference will be held virtually on February 13, 2026, to provide clarification on the project requirements and expectations.
