Contract Administration & Inspection Services for Marine Park Improvements

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a consultant to provide contract administration and inspection services for the Marine Park Improvements project. The project includes improvements to Marine Park in downtown Juneau, such as mobilization, traffic control, demolition, excavation, and construction of pavilions, kiosks, and other miscellaneous improvements. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that the contractor constructs the work in accordance with the authorized drawings and specifications. The scope of services includes contract administration, inspection services, materials testing, and quality control. The consultant will also be responsible for preparing and submitting reports, maintaining records, and providing support for inspection services. • The project is expected to be completed by April 1, 2027. • The consultant's contract performance period will depend on the contractor's schedule. • The consultant will be responsible for providing all necessary supporting activities for inspection. • The consultant will be required to maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability insurance, professional liability insurance, workers' compensation insurance, and comprehensive automobile liability insurance. • The consultant will be paid based on a lump sum or time and materials basis, with hourly rates and reimbursable expenses to be negotiated. • The consultant will be required to submit invoices and reports to the City and Borough of Juneau.
