The California Exposition & State Fair is seeking a qualified waste‑management contractor to provide front‑loader refuse collection, roll‑off container service, a cardboard compactor, and organic‑waste compliance for its year‑round campus and the annual State Fair under a three‑year contract (2027‑2029). The contractor must supply equipment, perform twice‑weekly collections (more during the Fair), meet strict response‑time standards, and deliver detailed reporting and education services.
• Provide 80 front‑loader containers (4‑6 yd) with at least twice‑weekly lifts; add 70 extra containers for the State Fair.
• Supply and maintain a 40‑yd cardboard compactor, 20 towable cardboard carts, and a fleet of roll‑off containers (no charge).
• Meet SB 1383 organic‑waste requirements, respond to repair calls within 2 hours, and replace emptied containers within 1 hour of removal.
