Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to ProGroup Instruments Corporation for the WellPro 4000CE liquid handling system with 8/12 channel liquid head for working in 96 well format. The system will be used by the National Centers for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, Influenza Division, Zoonotics Virus Transmission (ZVT) laboratory Branch at CDC. The requirement includes two WellPro 4000CE instruments with installation and on-site training, including instrument alignment.
* The contract is for a commercial instrument and is valued below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT).
* The contractor must provide the equipment and services as specified in the contract.
* The contract duration shall not exceed 3-1/2 years.
* The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to equal opportunity, labor standards, and environmental protection.
