Description
The 412th Test Wing at Edwards Air Force Base requires complete modernization of one freight and one passenger elevator in Building 1020. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and related services to replace or upgrade elevator control systems, mechanical components, and safety features in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Work must begin within ten days of a Notice to Proceed and each elevator’s on‑site work is limited to 120 calendar days, while the overall contract period may not exceed 24 months. The solicitation is issued as an RFQ, with a highly encouraged site visit on 24 Aug 2026 and questions due by 26 Aug 2026. Award will be based on best‑value (technical approach, past performance, price) and will require Level 1 CMMC compliance.
