Description
The Maryland State Retirement Agency (SRA) is seeking a single qualified firm to provide comprehensive global custody services for the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System and related funds. The scope includes settlement, safekeeping, delivery, investment accounting, income collection, securities valuation, performance and compliance reporting, short‑term cash investments, corporate actions, proxy voting, and related technology/system requirements. The contract will commence around March 1 2027 and run for a base term of five years, with optional extensions up to four additional years. Proposals must be submitted in hard‑copy and electronic format by September 25 2026; oral presentations may be required; questions are due by September 4 2026.
• Services: trade settlement, custody, accounting, reporting, cash management, corporate actions, analytics, compliance, technology integration, transition planning.
• Entities covered: all defined‑benefit retirement and pension systems under the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System, Maryland Transit Administration plans, Post‑retirement Health Benefits Trust Fund, and any other funds managed by the Board.
• Contract term: 5‑year base (March 1 2027 – Feb 28 2032) with possible extensions.
• Submission: hard‑copy (1 original + 7 copies) + electronic copy; deadline 5 PM EST, Sep 25 2026.
