Description
The Missouri Veterans Commission is seeking a vendor to provide pest control services for the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, Missouri. The contractor will be responsible for providing pest control services to keep the facility free of insects and pests throughout the contract period. The services will include monthly inspections and treatments, as well as additional treatments as needed. The contractor must have a minimum of three years' experience in providing pest control services at facilities similar in nature, size, and scope of services being required. The contractor must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the use of environmentally preferable products. Some key points of the job's scope-of-work include:
* Providing pest control services for the Missouri Veterans Home – Cameron, including the main building, outbuildings, and perimeter grounds
* Performing monthly inspections and treatments, as well as additional treatments as needed
* Using environmentally preferable products whenever possible
* Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe application of pesticides
* Providing a written site visit report after each service call, including areas serviced, infestation present, and corrective action taken
* Maintaining a file of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for each product/chemical used in the performance of the services
* The contractor shall pay particular attention to all areas in which food is prepared, stored or consumed to ensure adequate treatment and prevention of infestation or re-infestation.
