Paramedic Certification Training

The US Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors to provide National Registry Paramedic (NRP) certification training for up to 125 Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) students annually. The training must meet the standards of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and include certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). The contractor must be accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP) and have a historical first-time NREMT Paramedic examination pass rate of 90% or greater. • The contractor must provide all-inclusive NRP Initial Certification Courses for up to 125 AFMS students annually. • The training curriculum must meet or exceed the standards of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and the National EMS Education Standards. • The contractor must maintain a medical oversight relationship with an urban EMS system that has a documented ALS call volume greater than 35%. • The contractor must provide remedial training and fund one re-test opportunity for any student who fails the NREMT exam on their first attempt.
